Our passion is to clearly present the renewing power of Jesus Christ in every way. We believe God’s word is the final authority and that His mission (purpose) is to rescue a lost and broken world. We believe New Heights exists to do our part in accomplishing that purpose.
Children are an essential focus at New Heights. We seek to facilitate a life long journey with children through a partnership of home and church. We are working to be an “Orange” church. We believe the warm heart of the family can be represented by the color red, and the bright light of the church can be represented by the color yellow. When these two entities combine their efforts for the sake of the spiritual growth of the next generation, the result is Orange. We want to synchronize the efforts of church leaders and parents around a plan to help build faith and character in their sons and daughters.
New Heights is an intergenerational church. We celebrate the joy of differing views of looking at life. Many different life situations. All learning to develop a church whether a baby boomer, Gen Y or Gen X all bringing their outlook together into a common vision and purpose.
We celebrate youth and cherish our children. We value the contribution of the more mature. Collaboration is a key word. Adults serving children in small groups. And youth bringing their gift for worship and models for children. And mature adults being seers in the midst of the community seeing God’s dream come to life.
