Group Link is what we call the life group ministry at New Heights. While Sunday mornings can be a great way to learn about God in a group setting and meet new people, we believe the real magic happens in small groups. Life groups normally meet bi-weekly on different days of the week, are usually no larger than 18-20 people, and are hosted in someone’s home. It is a safe, comfortable environment where the group picks a study topic, reads a book or watches a video series together, and discusses what they have learned. Everyone gets an opportunity to share and learn from others, creating a wonderful learning environment and many meaningful relationships.
These groups offer you an opportunity to:
- Learn more about Christ.
- Grow in a deeper relationship with Him.
- Connect with other believers – making new, meaningful frienships along the way.
- Be accountable to others in your walk with God – talk about your daily struggles and grow through them with the help of God’s Word and people who love you.
- Have a stronger sense of purpose within the church – it is important to get connected with other adults who believe the same things you do. Plus, someone out there could learn a lot from the challenges you have faced in your life.
